If you didn't already know, every school nurse has a private bathroom. If you are embarrassed by some of your symptoms, go and talk to your school's nurse. Talk to her about your symptoms and I am sure that she will let you use that private bathroom any time you need to. This can really take the stress off of using the stalls in the school's bathroom. I used this trick all the time and it works a charm.
If you read my last post then you probably are wondering "What is M9?". Well, M9 is this bottle of this magical odor eliminator that really cleans up any unwanted scent. It comes in a small container and has saved my life ( from embarrassment) on many occasions. I would highly recommend getting a bottle or two of it instead of a big bottle of Febreze in you travel kit.
If you would like to a get a bottle here is a link to get some on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Odor-Eliminator-Spray-UNSCENTED-QTY/dp/B000GG25HO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1347484354&sr=8-1&keywords=m9+odor+eliminator If you are going to school, then here is a list of supplies you probably want to keep in your locker. Keeping these items in a small duffel bag or a drawstring bag can keep your kit private from wandering eyes.
- M9/ a small can of Febreze - ostomy supplies (if you have an ostomy) - Extra toilet paper in a plastic bag - Extra underwear - extra shorts/pants - Tums - Gas Ex - Lactaids If you are in school and are nervous about your symptoms acting up, talk to your teachers after or before class about your condition. All teachers will understand and will help out in any way they can. For example, when I was in fifth grade, I talked to my teacher and she and I came up with some signal (it was the toilet sign in sign language) and she let me leave the room without having to ask in front of the whole class. This gave me peace of mind during that tough second year from being embarrassed in front of the whole class by my constant bathroom trips.
